Intellipaat's Advanced Certification in Data Science and AI is built around its tie up with IITM Pravartak, the technology innovation hub linked to IIT Madras, and that association is doing most of the selling. The program runs about seven months with fifty plus live online sessions, one to one mentorship, and a two day campus immersion at the IIT Madras Research Park at the end, which is a genuinely pleasant differentiator and gives the whole thing a more academic feel than a typical online course. The curriculum is the expected sweep through Python, statistics, machine learning, deep learning and the AI topics on top, and it is competently put together. Two things temper my enthusiasm.
The first is the marketing. Intellipaat is known for aggressive sales tactics and outcome claims that run ahead of reality, and the gap between the pitch and the day to day experience is the most common source of disappointment, so you should mentally discount the promises before you commit. The second is the nature of the IIT link. A certificate associated with an IIT innovation hub is not the same as a credential from the institute's degree programs, and while it still carries some weight, you should be clear eyed about exactly what the badge represents rather than reading more into it than is there.
On content, it is fine, but it largely covers what you can already learn from free and well regarded sources, so what you are really paying for is the live structure, the mentorship and that joint certificate. My honest take is that if the IITM Pravartak name genuinely helps your situation and you value live teaching with a deadline, this can be a reasonable buy provided you keep the marketing at arm's length. If the certificate is not the deciding factor, the same knowledge is available far more cheaply, and you avoid the sales pressure entirely.
