There are payment plans and deferred tuition options, and a tech residency component that puts students onto production work with real deadlines and real stakeholders.
On the reviews, and I read a lot of them, the pattern is unusually consistent. Coding Temple sits around 4.77 across several hundred reviews on Course Report, and more importantly students name individual instructors repeatedly and describe them as patient and genuinely invested. That specific pattern is the single most reliable indicator I know of in bootcamp reviews. Generic five star reviews about a life changing experience tell you almost nothing.
Two hundred people independently naming the same instructor and describing the same behaviour tells you the teaching is real. The tech residency also draws specific praise, and it should. One graduate describing work on an actual production mobile app with real stakeholders is worth more than a portfolio of five tutorial clones, because it is the only thing on a junior CV that answers the question every hiring manager is silently asking. Now the parts that need care.
The tuition guarantee is marketed as a job guarantee and it is a conditional reimbursement. You must meet every requirement, which typically means application volume targets, participation in career services, and various documentation obligations, and then wait two hundred and seventy days without a qualifying offer before claiming. Bootcamps across the industry have used this structure for years and the reason is simple. Almost nobody satisfies every condition across nine months, and the ones who do have usually found work anyway.
Treat the guarantee as a statement of confidence rather than as insurance, and if you are relying on it, read the full terms before enrolling rather than after. The outcome statistics deserve the same treatment. A 97 percent placement rate and a median salary above $75,000 are the school's own figures, calculated on graduates who participate in career services, which is a self selecting group that excludes anybody who disengaged.
